Managed services specialist Amsio joins Sentia family
Amsterdam, December 2017 – Amsio, one of The Netherland’s largest independent managed hosting specialists, is the newest branch of the Sentia family tree. With 15 years of experience in the area of IT managed services for excellent organizations, the company is a perfect fit with Sentia’s DNA. The acquisition is part of Sentia’s ambition to strengthen their leading position in Europe as a provider of managed services for complex and business critical cloud applications. The Sentia team now consists of 390 personnel, spread over the Benelux and Denmark.
Sentia has a strategy of bringing together innovative and successful organizations and Amsio fits perfectly within this framework. “We are proud that Amsio has joined the Sentia family. Amsio is a fast growing managed hoster, with a focus on technology and innovation. Their reputation is exceptionally good and with clients such as Heineken, KNVB and NVM, this is a valuable and appropriate addition to the group. The team continues to work independently in Maassluis. In the fields of technology, security and compliance, we will work together to offer customers an even broader range of services” comments Ian Zein, CEO of the Sentia Group.
Amsio has a reputation as a trusted advisor in the market and sees a substantial opportunity in working with Sentia. “In the fast-growing world of cloud, scalability is crucial if a service provider such as Amsio wishes to keep up in terms of price, knowledge, security and the breadth of our portfolio. After many meetings and having carefully weighed up the options, Sentia was chosen as strategic partner. The strength of a larger organization ensures a win-win situation for our clients, our personnel and our organization” notes Gerben van Leeuwen, Managing Director of Amsio.
Amsio, with 35 specialists managing hybrid cloud platforms for prominent clients, will continue to operate with the same management team from the Maassluis office. In addition, Sentia has the following offices, spread over three countries: Gent (BE), Amsterdam (NL), Maassluis (NL), Nieuwegein (NL), Delft (NL) and Copenhagen (DK).
